My name is Kenny Thayer and I'm the proud owner of Vail Country Club. I am a class A PGA Teaching Professional and have been in the golf business for over 25 years. Before moving to the Vail Valley, I spent one year on Kauai and 5 years at the Kapalua Plantation course on Maui. Having spent most of my youth in Mammoth Lakes, California, I soon realized I really missed skiing and wanted to be in an area that offered both great skiing and great golf.

 

I have been in the Vail Valley for 17 years and always feel a bit of sadness when I have to put my clubs away for the winter. I decided to open Vail Country Club as a place where “Golf Nuts” like myself can play and practice year round.

Having taught 1000s of lessons over the past 20 years, I am happy to offer TrackMan technology to everyone in the valley. TrackMan is truly amazing! I am really excited about working with new players and growing the game.  Helping you achieve your goals and enjoy what you are doing is my main objective.

 

At Vail Country Club, you won't have to worry about the weather, how busy it is or the added pressure of being watched while hitting balls on the range. I can offer a unique coaching experience using TrackMan to improve your game, club & ball data and overall knowledge of the swing.

 

You will have the option of video analysis and all your lessons will be stored in your personal online locker, You can track your progress, watch your lesson videos, and analyze the data to see what is working and what you need to work on.  Why wait, let’s get started on improving your game.
